The ambition of the author who designed and realized this book is to offer the widest audience a dictionary and at the same time a true bilingual dictionary. With its 100 000 definitions, jobs and examples, this dictionary "English-Duala", more descriptive than nominative wants a panorama of the culture duálá in particular and sáwá duálá in general. It lists almost all the terms of the language and lists all their meanings in English, thus constituting a comp...lete verification tool for the user in search of precise information. The criterion to be used in the use of "boxes". All the senses are presented inside the frames, often with specific examples. The abundant and diversified illustration was chosen in order to illuminate the user. The images are gathered in the form of thematic plates, which constitute a development in its own right. Finally, this dictionary applies the standards of the GACL (General Alphabet of Cameroonian Languages).
